Historical Detail
After the Second World War, the Nederlandsche Spoorwegen had lost a large amount of its rolling stock. The Danske Statsbaner (DSB), Danish state railway, was the first to help NS by lending them coaches. In November of 1946, 21 4-axle coaches of the series DSB 2900 and 11 2-axle coaches of the series DSB 4100 arrived and they were swiftly put to use.
The 4-axle coaches were put into service as second class. They had a total of 67 seats, of which 30 were for smoking. They were mainly used on trains between Zwolle - Roosendaal, though were also found on trains between Amsterdam - Enkhuizen and Utrecht - Leiden in smaller amounts. They even saw a short period of express services that went north from Roosendaal.
The Dutch passengers apparently cared little for the foreign rolling stock; shortly after they were put into service, reports appeared of stolen lamps and handbrakes that had been tightened by passengers.
Since the Danish could only lease their rolling stock for so long, all 32 coaches returned to Denmark five months later in March of 1947. However, 10 of each series would return for the winters of 1947-1948 & 1948-1949.

- The DSJ 4 axle coach carries the name DSJ because the DSB did not grant permission to use their name and logo.
- The DSJ 4 axle coach is the first coach in Streamlined that never had an NS number.
- The DSJ 4 axle coach is the first foreign coach to be added to the game.
