Liveries
Currently, there are two liveries available for the Sheep-pen, these being the standard Nederlandsche Spoorwegen (NS) Green and the Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij (HSM) Green, the latter only being avalible for owners of the Preserved Four gamepass. During the 2022 April Fools Doggolined update a joke livery was available that turned the Sheep-pen upside down.
Historical Detail
HSM
The Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschapij (HSM) ordered 135 of these coaches between 1901-1920 at the factories J.J. Beijnes, Werkspoor and Görlitz . These coaches had 11 compartments fitting 10 passengers each. They had no toilets so no corridor between compartments. They entered service as HSM C 701-799, 1501-1535.
NS
When the HSM and Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van de Staatsspoorwegen (SS) merged in 1921, the coaches were renumbered to NS C 5001-5135, still third class. Despite the lack of comfort, these coaches survived until 1956 when the remaining coaches were withdrawn and scrapped in favor of newer, steel coaches.
