The 1912 Compartment Coach is a wooden coach. It is the unbraked counterpart of the Braked 1912 Compartment Coach.

The 1912 Compartment Coach is only available in Nederlandsche Spoorwegen green.

Between 1912 - 1919, J. J. Beijnes built a set of 40 coaches for the Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van de Staatsspoorwegen (SS). These coaches were intended to be both first and second class and were subsequently given only seven compartments and three toilets. Three of the compartments were first class, which had three second class compartments on one side and a single second class compartment on the other. The three toilets had all been put on the same side.
These would enter service as SS AB 826-830 and 851-885.
NS
When the SS and Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-maatschappij (HSM) merged in 1921, they were renumbered to NS AB 6101-6140. 17 years later, in 1938 and 1939, the remaining 29 coaches were demoted to third class and renumbered to NS C 6901-6929. They would eventually be replaced by modern, metal coaches. All were scrapped.
Trivia
- Prior to version 0.4.70, the 1910 Compartment Coach was named 1912 Compartment Coach.
- Despite having been mostly second class and demoted to third class seven years before Streamlined's time period, they remain entirely first class in-game.
- The 1912 compartment coach has been available since version 0.5.29, along with its braked counterpart.
