The Festive NS 2600 is a Dutch Co'Co' diesel locomotive. It is the event engine for the 2022 Holiday event and is based on the NS 2600. It released on December 18th, 2022.

Variants

The Festive NS 2600 is available in NS brown and NS blue. During the 2023 Holiday event, it had a plough livery for both liveries.

Availability

The Festive NS 2600 was first available during the Holiday event of 2022 from December 18th to January 1st. Following the event rolling stock pattern, it had a redemption period during the Holiday event of 2023, this time from December 23rd to January 7th.

• The Festive NS 2600 is the third instalment in the the Festive series of limited rolling stock.
  • The other Festive themed rolling stock is the Festive NS 4000, Festive 3rd class Bolkop, and the Festive Tree Transporter.
• The Festive NS 2600 is the first festive locomotive in the diesel category.
• Due to the NS 2600 already being a mixed locomotive, the Festive NS 2600 can haul one more 1st class coach.
• The Festive NS 2600 was the first festive rolling stock to be released with two liveries.
• The Festive NS 2600 was available in versions 0.5.13 and 0.8.1.
  • With the release of 0.8.1, the Festive NS 2600 will most likely not be put on sale ever again, which would been in trend with all the other limited rolling stock.
