The Voorlemsche brug (Voorlem bridge) is a landmark based on the Brug over de Oude Maas, also known as the Barendrecht bridge, in its post-1930 condition.

Real life
A proposal to build a bridge over the Oude Maas river that was suitable for travellers, vehicles and the railway was made in 1883. This proposal was accepted in 1885 whilst finishing the bridge took until 1888. The bridge was a 340 metre long swing bridge and solely used by travellers and vehicles until the RTM (Rotterdam Tramway Company) began using its new railway line in 1898.
Eventually, the needs of the water and railways meant that a swing bridge was no longer a suitable design, so the bridge closed in 1930 and re-opened in 1933 as a vertical-lift bridge, built by Werkspoor. The new lift bridge lasted not quite as long, as it closed in 1969 to be replaced with a tunnel going under the Oude Maas river.

- The bridge was added in version 0.1 at the game's release.
- In version 0.9, the bridge received an overhaul that fixed collision issues and changed its colour to green.
