Overview

Dokmuiden is a large city in the North-East of the map. Its main station is Dokmuiden, with Dokmuiden Airport positioned on the city's outskirts.

The city has a compact design, with a variety of houses crammed into every available location between the railway, harbour and surrounding farmland. The streetlights in Dokmuiden hang above the streets, suspended by cables.

Large, empty spaces indicate Dokmuiden isn't finished and will receive more houses in the future.

Description

General

Dokmuiden is one of the largest cities in Streamlined, if not the largest. Large parts of it are dedicated to industry and it is currently the only location with a landing location for airway traffic.

The architectural style of the city shows off how many people live here, as the smallest houses houses have two floors and the tallest flats rise out of the ground on the current outskirts. Even now, the city isn't done as many empty spots show plans to build even more housing.

Dokmuiden Airfield

Currently the only airfield in Streamlined, it lies North of Dokmuiden. It's connected to the rest of the railway with an extension of the track which goes to the harbour. Along this track is a small airport tower. Shortly after it splits up, left to the airport, right to unfinished bit of track.

The airport itself has three short runways in a triangle formation which are all connected to the airfield building. On the other side are a lot of hangars and storage building, as well as storages for fuel.

Two rows of houses are on the edge of the airfield, though likely not for regular housing.
