Historical Basis

The Real Peperga station had been built in 1870, with construction of a line passing between the towns of Zwolle and Leeuwarden beginning in 1865. The station lasted several years but faced closure in 1941. The original building itself no longer exists, as it was demolished in the early 70s.

Compared to the in-game counterpart, the real station had more tracks to work with, a mainline for stopping passenger trains, on another lane of track is a yard for storing empty/loaded wagons/goods trains, as well as a passing loop of sorts. A total of 4 lanes of track make up Peperga, 3 of which are made up of the goods sidings and yard with the mainline running through the station platform and halt. ==

Trivia
