The Mark 1 was a fictional combination of the C12c and the BR Mark 1. It was solely a joke, and was the rolling stock counterpart of the Class 15.
Variants
The Mark 1 was only available in BR Blue with a first class yellow band above the windows.
Historical Details
The Mark 1 was made as a follow up to the Class 15, a joke locomotive with ridiculous statistics. As such, the price tag for the Mark 1 was ƒ500.000 at level 200, which was later raised to ƒ5.000.000.
Despite being the Class 15's counterpart, the coach did not get ridiculous stats. Although it did get 69 first class passengers, more than any other first class coach to date, its comfort rating was: Poor.
Trivia
- The price raise happened in version 0.8.8.
- The unlock level was set to 200 as this was the highest level prior to version 0.9.1.
- The model was never updated, even when the C12c model was.
- It did, however, get updated with destination signs like the rest of the coaches.
- The Mark 1 was added in version 0.3.2.
- In version 0.9.4 it was replaced by the Ad9 coach.
