Historical details
As a part of Streamlined's original development, Synchorus made a group of three British wagons, of which two had visible freight, in 2018. The group consisted of a grey van, a flatbed and the 20 ton stake wagon. In 2019, only the van and the stake wagon would receive an overhaul to become more detailed.
After release, the direction Streamlined should take became more clear and it was decided to remove rolling stock that had no evidence of being used in the Netherlands. As such, the 20 stake wagon was removed.
Trivia
- The name '20 ton stake wagon' was later used again by the HTR stake wagon before it was renamed to that in version 0.8.8.
- The 20 ton stake wagon remains the smallest flatbed in Streamlined.
- It is one of two pieces of rolling stock to be removed without replacement.
- It was added at launch, in version 0.1.
- It was removed in version 0.2.5.
