The CHD guard van is a modified version of the 20 ton CHD van. The 'CH' means that it's an enclosed van, the 'D' means that this is the fourth standardised design.

The CHD guard van is only avaible in NS green.
Trivia
- Just like the Ex-HSM temporary guard van, the CHD guard van was converted from an old wagon, this time from the 20 ton CHD wagon. This because a great part of the rolling stock was lost during World War II.
