Historical details

The FCKS livestock van is part of a series of 125 wagons built for the Staatsspoorwegen in 1908 and 1913. These wagons were already quite standardised, with companies like the Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij ordering similar wagons, and various configurations being available, like a similar wagon modified for transporting chicken. These wagons were used for well over 40 years, until their eventual replacement in the late 1950's. None have been preserved.

Trivia

  • During Halloween 2022 (version 0.5.6.) the cows were replaced with ghost cows.
  • The FCKS livestock van has been available since launch, version 0.1.
