Historical details
The DE-1 2 year anniversary was available for purchase during May 29 - June 5, 2022 for ƒ500.000 to celebreate Streamlined's two year anniversary. Following the 'release year, redemption year' pattern, it was available again during May 28 - June 4, 2023 for the same price.

Much like the regular version, it can couple up with a DE-1 and DE-2, though not with itself.
Liveries
The DE-1 2 year anniversary is only available in the DE-1's blue angel livery.
Trivia
- The Anniversary DE-1 is based on the preserved DE-1 41.
- 41 is the only number it can have, which means you can only have one Anniversary DE-1 in a consist.
- The Anniversary DE-1 is a full first class DMU, rather than a split of first and second class.
- The Anniversary DE-1 is the first limited DMU.
- The Anniversary DE-1 is the second instalment of the Anniversary series of limited rolling stock.
